It's been a really busy week again, so no posts since last weekend.
Peahead was unusually romantic this valentines. We both took the day off work, I got breakfast in bed and a bunch of beautiful red roses. Then it was out and about for the day. We had a drive over to Clitheroe to see the Julie Arkell exhibition at the Platform Gallery - all kinds of knitted stuff including this collection of knitted beastie specimens kept in jars, all individually labeled. We stopped for lunch at the Emporium and then drove over Pendle Hill to see if we could spot our house on the other side of the Valley. We could just about make it out, but the picture didn't turn out too well. Looks strangely flat because you can't see the valley below.

Work was pretty horrific this week. Two really late nights with meetings and then on Friday, an audit of one of my projects by Government Office. The guy went through four years worth of financial records and asked questions about every penny, it took from 8am until 3pm. My boss bought me a nice bunch of flowers and some chocolates to make up for it. They smell amazing and look pretty sweet in my Kelbrook jug.

Today the sun was shining, so I got up early to go to the farmers market in Colne with Bert. We got some lumpy pink potatoes for dinner tomorrow and a red hellebore for the garden. Couldn't help but call in the charity shop and picked up this amazing assortment of vintage silks and cottons for 50p. I might attempt those embroidery prints now.

With the sun still shining, the babes went free ranging while I tidied the garden for the rest of the afternoon. Bosie's ankles are getting better, but look terrible as all the fur has dropped off. It should grow back soon though.

Oscar was so happy he was singling!
Spike was enjoying the sun today too.

Rosie (my neighbour) adopted another westie a few months back. I took a picture of it sitting next to Scampy today. I can't tell them appart.
