School run
We are not really a family of routine, but things are finally starting to come together and there is now a glimmer of order to our mornings. From what was originally complete chaos as we all tried to wash, eat, dress, get in the car and to school on time with all our belongings, has now become a relatively calm and almost fun start to our day.
Kitty is being a really big girl and dresses and washes herself while I see to Bubba. Once in her car seat, Bubba spends most of the trip asleep. We leave early to make sure we have time to park a good way from the school and enjoy a bit of a morning walk. Kitty likes to have plenty of time to play with her friends before the bell, and surprisingly I too enjoy spending a bit of time receiving compliments on Bubba and chatting to the other mums in the playground.
Once the weather gets a little better, we will probably introduce Bert to the joys of the school run too.

Snow day
Kitty has been feeling a little under the weather with a bad cough and running a temperature. She had a day off school to rest but once the snow started, we couldn't resist venturing out for a little while.
